Supported file formats

Product CSV uses a header row with fields such as Title, Vendor, Type, Tags, Variant SKU, Handle. Product JSON: an array of product objects or {"products":[...]}. Synonym CSV: each row is one group of alternatives (for example, mug,cup,tumbler); an optional first-column header is accepted. Synonym JSON accepts arrays of words, {"term":"mug","alternatives":["cup"]}, {"term":"mug","synonyms":["cup"]}, or a term-to-array map. Query CSV: header query,result_count. Limits: each file ≤1 MB; 5,000 products/rows/groups; 500 distinct queries; query length ≤200 characters.

This is a lightweight text comparison, not Shopify storefront search or a ranking benchmark. It does not model typo tolerance, filters, availability, theme behavior or the live search index. A match only means words overlap in the supplied product fields. Confirm any change in your authenticated Shopify admin and storefront.
